When I say "we work a lot of dark shit on the #BEC side of the fence" I don't know if people really understand what I mean. Sure, #ransomware might encrypt a hospital or company and cause them to lose a couple dollars...but did you know we have murders tied to Nigerian fraud and 419 scams?

In addition, scammers use voodoo (technically juju) to receive blessings and tug on the strings of the universe to tilt things into their favor. While it can be as simple as bringing a picture of the victim to your native doctor, some cases include a human sacrifice to become a better scammer. This is called a Yahoo Boy Plus, whereas the "normal" scammers are just Yahoo Boys.

There's also elements of human trafficking tied to this, such as how #BlackAxe does a lot of operations in Italy. And to put the scale into perspective...we have victims in 177 of 195 countries in the world, or 90% of the globe, for those who don't want to math.

And some of these groups are hundreds of thousands of members. International syndicates, professional gangs, things like that. And while this may come as a surprise to many here...this is common. Like, really REALLY common.
