So... I spent the afternoon cutting out the dead canes in our thornless blackberry patch, which I'm pretty sure I very nearly killed with dog poop. Ugh. 100% of the existing canes were dead. Thankfully, there were a few brand new shoots springing up from the root stocks, so I think it'll survive.
