DE: Dies ist die direkte Fortsetzung der Aufnahme, die ich letzte Woche postete (aufgenommen am 4. April 2023, kurz nach 5:00 Uhr).

Wenn ihr beide Aufnahmen hintereinander hört, ist auffallend, dass Herr Amsel während des Singens immer munterer wird: Der Gesang ist zunächst zögerlich, wird aber im Verlauf der Viertelstunde kraftvoller und bestimmter. (Naja, auch so eine Amsel muss am frühen Morgen erst richtig wach werden. 😆)

Auch die restliche Vogelwelt erwacht nach und nach: Immer mehr Vögel stimmen in den Gesang ein.

EN: This is a direct sequel to the recording I posted last week (recorded on April 4th, 2023, just after 5:00 a.m.).

If you listen to both recordings one after the other, it is noticeable that Mr. Blackbird becomes increasingly lively: the singing is hesitant at first, but becomes more powerful in the end. (Well, even a blackbird has to wake up slowly in the early morning. 😆)

The rest of the bird world is also gradually waking up: More and more birds join in the song.

DE: Der frühe Morgen des vierten April 2023, 5:00 Uhr.

Fast zögerlich fängt eine Amsel an zu singen. Um sie herum ist es fast komplett still. Nach und nach gesellen sich andere Amseln mit ihrem Gesang zu ihr, weit in der Ferne. Die Vogelwelt erwacht und sagt: "Guten Morgen!" 🙂

Almost hesitantly, a blackbird begins to sing. It's almost completely silent around the singer. One after the other, more blackbirds join it with their singing, far in the distance. The bird world wakes up and says: "Good morning!" 🙂

DE: Diese Aufnahme stammt bereits vom 24. Februar, und erst heute, fünf Monate danach, habe ich sie fertig bearbeitet. Ich hatte mich lange davor gedrückt, da sie sehr arbeitsintensiv war: Da waren viele Nebengeräusche, die ich herausschneiden musste.

Ich liebe dieses "Düdeldüdeldüdel" bei 0:44, 02:44, 04:49 und 07:25. Es klingt, als hätte die Amsel einen Schwips! 😆🍷

EN: This recording is from February 24th, and I just finished editing it today, five months later. I avoided it for a long time because it was very difficult to edit. There was a lot of background noise that I had to cut out.

I love this funny motif at 0:44, 02:44, 04:49 and 07:25. It sounds like the blackbird is tipsy! 😆🍷

DE: Dies ist ein Ausschnitt einer viel längeren Aufnahme.

Die ursprüngliche Gesamt-Aufnahme dauert mehr als 40 Minuten (40:25) - und ist die längste Aufnahme einer Amsel, die mir je gelungen ist!

Hier hört ihr die letzten acht Minuten. Dies ist auch der schönste Teil der Aufnahme: Hier drehte sich die Amsel etwas mehr in Richtung Aufnahmerecorder und ist noch ein bisschen lauter und klarer zu hören (bei 00:51).

Die Aufnahme ist vom 6. Mai diesen Jahres. Die Gesamt-Aufnahme machte ich von ca. 04:18 bis 04:58 Uhr. (Und durfte mich in dieser Zeit so gut wie nicht bewegen, um keine Geräusche zu machen und um die Amsel nicht zu verjagen! 😅 )

EN: This is just a snippet of a much longer recording.

The original recording lasts more than 40 minutes (40:25) - and is the longest recording of a blackbird that I've ever had!

Here you can hear the last eight minutes. This is also the most beautiful part of the recording: Here the blackbird turned a bit more towards the recorder and can be heard a bit louder and more clear (at 00:51).

The recording is from May 6th this year. I recorded the blackbird from 04:18 AM to 04:58 AM. (And I was hardly allowed to move during this time, so as not to make any noise and not to chase the blackbird away! 😅 )
