@MevsMatze Something else I didn't get on my first couple of watches but found out more about in the documentary was the significance of those killer buck horns used to stab the crazy doctor/patriarch. "Black Buck" was a racial slur in the post-Reconstruction United States, a caricature of a certain type of black man who refused to bend to white authority and who was seen as irredeemable. On , I wanted to shout out GANGGANG, an Indianapolis organization that has done critically important work to increase the visibility of Black art and culture in Indy. They got written up in the NY Times a couple days ago and it makes me proud of our city.

They put on a Black art fair, BUTTER, in September, and it was an amazing success that's gotten national attention.
