On Dec. 4, 1969, Chicago police, in league with the FBI, assassinated the charismatic Chairman of the Black Panther Party as he lay sleeping, having been drugged by an informant. Chairman Fred Hampton played an outsized role in influencing the mass political movement until the day he was murdered. Let memory of his life and legacy prevail!
