Ugh. Really sorry to hear about your reproductive rights being attacked. Most if not all the kids in foster care here are Black & Brown. But white male politicians talking about “adoption.”

As for hair…yep. All sounds familiar. Unprofessional. Lots of cases like that here. Even children. Babies told they can’t be in their dance recitals because their hair can’t be put in a “classic bun.”

Merely denying racism exists / has been eliminated / covering it up doesn't make it so.

Publishing bias reports, which state structural & systemic racism don’t exist doesn’t make it so.

Claiming, as proof that you can’t be racist because you have Black friends / family members, doesn’t make it so.

Simply stating that I'm not racist, my family / friends aren't racist doesn’t make it so.
