Toujours cette sensation d'être encore dans l'introduction de l'histoire. Le "bulid up" est extrêmement lent, ce qui n'est pas désagréable.
En revanche, je trouve un peu dommage qu'on ne parvienne à s'attacher vraiment à aucun personnage - ce qui ne veut pas dire que la caractérisation est mauvaise : j'ai été particulièrement frappée par le personnage de Mary-Love, la mère toxique et manipulatrice, plus vraie que nature.

Quand je le racontais à mon mec il me disait « ah mais c’est une telenovelas » mais en fait non c’est du fantastique et de l’histoire US et il se passe rien mais il se passe tellement de trucs 😍😍😍

Quelle escroquerie la série #blackwater ! Après 4 livres et demis sur 6 on est toujours en plein Dallas, avec un tas de riches à moitié cinglés qui se bouffent le nez, et aucune justification ni logique pour les agissements de la créature du lac noir qui frappe à peu près une fois par tome.
