Kickstarted a card game a million years ago and it recently delivered. “Blaseball” is a LCG adaptation of the cult hit, browser-based video game which was itself an adaptation of the sport… (Can it be a LCG if the game never gets expansion?)

It’s neat! Probably too goofy for serious play which is why I like it.

Blaseball (silly baseball sim that allowed each team's community to vote on actions. RIV) did a great job of demonstrating how we could create a better world irl with one rule:

The "eat the rich" mechanic took the top 1% richest players' funds, redistributing them at the end of each week. It prevented players from hoarding votes to disproportionately influence elections. Rich players spent lotsa votes helping their team in attempts to avoid being in the 1%.
