It's mainly for debugging, for us its useful when providing support and double checking a post actually has the data (eg meta) that it's supposed to.

So I've been working on this server rendered Gutenberg block that displays current weather reports from a limited set of Icelandic weather stations.

Not sure if this is too niche for release on wordpress.org, but it's been fun to play with React and blocks for the first time in years.

(The icons are from https://erikflowers.github.io/weather-icons/ and the data comes from the Icelandic Met Office via apis.is.)

I'm glad we used the Block Editor (Gutenberg) from the beginning. The Block Editor is getting better and better. Creating websites with Block Themes like Twenty Twenty-Three still takes some time to get used to, but it's worth learning.
