Does anyone who does #Linocutting have opinions on #BlockPrintingInk , specifically #WaterSolubleInk vs. #OilBasedInk ? I've been doing #Linocut for years but only with #Speedball water soluble or regular ol stamp pads (not practical for bigger pieces)

It's a narrow window when water ink is at the "just right" stage & if I'm doing 5 prints in a row, 3 is perfect, 2 & 4 are fine, 1 & 5 are ok-to-poor

Does oil-based give you longer working times? Less blotchy 1st prints? Less cakey last prints?
