I'm not sure how much momentum it has though. Efforts to add block editing to static website generators, like Bookshop by CloudCannon, have shown little interest in adopting the Block Protocol, for example: https://github.com/CloudCannon/bookshop/discussions/90

Nice! This is also interesting to @RyunoKi who has #BlockProtocol mentioned in the #NLnet application for R&D on federated UI.

Fantasy:

Reusable #UI widgets based on #BlockProtocol or similar, with out-of-the-box data storage, streaming and API using a distributed actor-OCAP-RPC mechanism like @spritelyinst

And a GUI low-code tool for mixing, matching and connecting these widgets

Allowing anyone to rapidly develop task-tailored UIs with an out-of-the-box #decentralized network backend

Just don't let the capitalist system/money/crypto take over this dream
