In today's story 'Innuendo', we revisit an earlier story (Silhouette) where a writer travels to a small country town and stumbles upon a house with a dubious past.

The townsfolk shut up shop, but something compels him to investigate as he is drawn into a web of intrigue, uncovering a tangled web of rumours and innuendo. Will anyone reveal their secrets?

In today's story 'Her Secret Life: Torn', Mary the contract killer housewife, has her heart is broken when she makes a shocking discovery. She is forced to make an unenviable decision; torn between finishing the job she was contracted to complete, or following her heart and ignoring every one of her instincts.

This is the final instalment (for now) in the trilogy. But, you never know when you might see her again.

Today's story 'Always in our Hearts' is a little different to some of my other writing. This is a rather personal and autobiographical piece about my Mum which I found incredibly challenging to write.

When you experience a life changing loss, it shapes you and the people around you forever. Especially when the loss is of a parent.

In 'Dinner at Eight' meet Elizabeth, the host of a society dinner with a murderous plot. The meal is served and the stage is set for her ultimate revenge.

This was probably one of the more ambitious pieces I've written, as it is a period drama with a plot that really needed some careful planning.

I'm looking at the upper end of the word range, but I may even move into the short story realm at some point.
