Bicycled in 40 C to give my O- blood. They were going for platelets until nurse saw how buried my veins are. She got it first try, though. But it was too slow. Older nurse came by and slightly moved it and I was pumping it out.

So thankful. My spouse (lab work, not donation) usually ends up with 3 or 4 bruises before they finally take it from her hand (where she told them too take it from in the first place).
