I have been a long time campaigner against the Red Cross' decision to disallow donations from the GBT community.
I have had many conversations with them regarding this decision and have been disappointed each time that they had chosen to brush of my concerns.
Many people in the community are unaware of this as are many staff at the Australian Red Cross.

With a big campaign like this, hopefully we can begin to change hearts and minds and ensure we have enough life saving blood to save more lives.

Going to donate on the local #BloodDrive later today. So important. It's actually been one of the few upsides of the #pandemic for me - much less of the travel that prevented me from donating before.
