#BloodSports have no place in modern #Ireland. Using live #hares as lures for #greyhounds in coursing is unacceptable. So too is using a pack of hounds to chase and tear #foxes to bits. A ban on coursing, fox hunting and all forms of hunting animals with packs of dogs is long overdue in Ireland.

A RED C opinion poll conducted in 2019 found that a 77 % of Irish citizens want hare coursing and foxhunting banned.

Local news story: someone has a security camera on their back garden – a fox runs in and hides behind the bins – A PACK OF HOUNDS JUMPS OVER THE FENCE AND TEARS IT TO PIECES. Then some man hoys over the fence, picks up the dead fox, sneaks off with it in his coat and gives it to a guy on a quad with no plates. The hunt clearly visible on their horses. Family get home to find blood and fox kidneys all over their patio. So much for 'trail hunting' #foxhunting #bloodsports #norfolk #westnorfolkhunt

On me bike which meant I had to negotiate Guisborough’s busy town centre!

Surprisingly quiet.

The town cross is relatively modern but the steps are worn, perhaps part of the Medieval Market cross although a 17th or 18th century engraving shows circular steps.

Perhaps the engraving also shows the town's bull-ring which was located very near the cross. Yes, bull-ba ...
