It has been a WEEK... both figuratively AND literally. I wasn't 200 miles into my move on Monday, and my brand new moving truck and trailer had a blowout on I-80. I waited in the middle of nowhere from 6pm to midnight for 2 tow trucks, which added a day to the move. The good news: I made it to Billings Thursday afternoon and to work at KTVQ Friday morning! WHEW! The moral of the story: remember to get the insurance!

Er.. yeah. I don't think having my puncture kit on hand last Wednesday would really have helped in this case..

However no excuse for not having basic repair tools/spares on hand. In my defence I cleaned my bike the day before and forgot to put the emergency bag back onto my frame.

This day did not go as planned. The remaining Goodyear Wrangler tires are coming off, getting some Yokohama tires. The Goodyears were originally off the red Power Wagon which is only a 2017, these tires have less than 20K miles. They’ve been sat in the sun, but still not very impressed, that’s 2 that have failed in the same way, just completely disintegrated.
