Next Month I'll be back in the northern hemisphere and am looking forward to revisiting The Blue. I will avoid it during the Furry Dance crowds. This short film was made in 1982 and I recognise so many of the faces:

The year before this was made I first began to make The Blue my (too young) teenage home. It was 1987 before Sid would sell me a Spingo.

If you use the Steam Coast Trail and are wondering if it is still under water, I can announce that it is now clear.

Having avoided it for a week or so since I did this video, I tried it again yesterday and it was fine. Some shingle on the path, but passable.
