Very talented.

This blue grosbeak (Passerina caerulea) appears to balance a small seed on his head.

I'm a little excited about this post because this is the first photo I've taken of a blue grosbeak, probably the first I've seen or at least noticed. I photographed this bird yesterday and interestingly, also photographed a related bird - the indigo bunting. Both belong to the family Cardinalidae along with the northern cardinal. Of course, I just looked this stuff up.

I have other photos that I took this morning that I personally like better, but I think this picture shows of his color pattern best.
