Well, Texas proved once again that propaganda has a stronghold on rural communities which in turn, has a stronghold on the rest of us. Abbott let us freeze, didn’t care about Uvalde, doesn’t care if women have bodily autonomy, doesn’t care for LGBTQIA+, didn’t campaign for shit but because he’s got (R) next to his name & promotes gUnS it’s YEEHAW BORTHOR ABBOTT ALL THE WAY. I was voter # 169 at 8am in my tiny town. Tiny, mostly red town in a mostly red state. I’m trying to be optimistic for my fellow blue voters to show up and fill in those ovals. We aren’t usually in the majority here, but when I see the numbers at the counting end, I don’t feel so alone. #electionday #BlueInRedState #GoVote2022 #VotingStickers
