This is a place that I have wanted to go for a while. I read reports that the larch were at peak color. The 2 plus mile uphill trail had ice and snow on it and I arrived later than I wanted to and was met by snow. So I moved quickly before it got dark. to try to capture what I could before the slick decent.

Good morning! Let's go to Washington Pass again. This is Blue Lake, at the top of a lovely trail heading up to the alpine. We had to navigate a small herd of goats while hiking, which always makes things interesting. Curious little buggers.
I do love reflections, particularly in the autumn.
