Recommendations for a new headset please. I'd prefer bluetooth and bone conduction but I know bone conduction ones are rare. My budget is low.

My AfterShokz set is dying after three years of use. I get lots of static especially in the computer room, and on phone calls. The mic really breaks up badly. Not sure if it's just the 2-3 year rule, or interference, nor the NordN20. The old OnePlus6 did not have any issues with it. I've even gotten to the point that I take off the BT gadget on the main computer.

I paid $65, they now want $135. I'd like to play a little less. Saw some cheap Lenovo ones on Temu but not sure.

So what do we have I can replace it with? Also, my phone does have a headphone jack.

I have some hearing loss, so something that can adapt to my ears would be great. That's part of what I enjoy with the bone conduction.

Bluetooth headset question.

What is the longest lasting one you had?

My kids go through buds at a rate of 1.5-2 years, and now I notice that my aftershokz are getting staticicky especially when they are connected to more than one device. It could just be the booster I added to the main computer, still I don't think they are as good as they once were.

Is this just the lifespan of such things?
