Rumor is in addition to Mando season 1 & 2 coming to bluray/4k steelbook (this is confirmed, pre-order out now, out in December), that Mando season 3, Book Of Boba Fett and Andor are coming as well, but supposedly next year in 2024. No word on if Obi-Wan Kenobi will also see a physical release. One thing to note is these are in fact collectors editions / limited edition releases so when they are gone they will be gone (supposedly)...

PS5's Blu-Ray player is much, much better. Makes sense, seeing that Sony is the main company behind Blu-Ray.

The Xbox Series X's Blu-Ray player is dreadfully bad.

It was already hilarious that I had to download an app just to play a Blu-Ray, but the UI feels like it was designed by somebody who had never used a game controller before. (The app has a 2 out of 5 star rating, so it's not just me.)

I bought a dozen Ultra HD Blu-Rays to start rebuilding my physical collection, and the Warner Bros movies all had expired digital redemption codes. WB's help page essentially says, “Sucks to be you.”

This is exactly why I'm rebuilding my physical media collection. If something is digital, the men in suits can take it from you without any warning.
