@chromblitzen I’m not a petrol head either, but in the US battery warranties are a mandatory 8 years and 100K miles (160K km). In fact, thanks to a little quirk with the #BMWi3REx, that vehicle has a mandatory 10 year warranty in California (meaning 70% of the original battery capacity).

In any case, the original Model S came out in 2012 so those are now 11 years old. Let’s see how that develops. 🤔

I am dangerously close to replacing our 2014 BWM i3 BEV…

...with a 2017 BWM i3 REx.

This one would make our third i3, which has to be some sort of record somewhere!
