There is a service in the US where you can have your #rebel #teen hauled of to an #abusive #BoardingSchool or program meant to force them to assimilate with society and your specific moral code and view on the world. Its called the #TeenTransport industry and my dad Bill Harper started transporting kids when I was still at #AgapeBoardingSchool. He worked with Julio at times. The topic of #BoardingSchool rarely fails to spark a conversation.

I started boarding on the cusp of 8/9 years old.

Excellent, formative things happened but this paragraph from a 2015 article in @TheGuardian sums up so much of it for me:

“From the moment the parent drove away, a child had to adjust to the fact that not only was privacy and safety no longer guaranteed – let alone the consolation of a hug – but that their parents had chosen this future.”
