This was us 4 years ago: Have travelled 2750km on European Inland Waterways, passing through 3 countries and 8 different rivers, 17 canals and 498 locks, 5 lift bridges, and 3 tunnels. Mainly moored at pirate moorings, free town walls or to other boats 70% of the time, in marinas 20% and at anchor 10%. Filled up the diesel tank 3 times during the journey.

#boatingeurope we were stuck aground for a few days waiting for rain to lift us off a bump we landed on when the river went down from the flood. With the water raising agen as the bow lifted, pushed the bow out and the current pulled us off the bump then drove through the night to a mooring with ana hanging off the front of the boat with a flash light, to point at the bridge arches in the swollen river.
