Video interview of oceanographer Bob Ballard after news broke today about the Titan submersible. He was at sea but too far away in the Pacific to assist with the srch.

Ballard discovered the wreck of the Titanic (1985) and other shipwrecks, and is also noted for maritime and underwater archaeology, having developed and used research submersibles for many years. He's currently a professor of oceanography at the Univ. of Rhode Island.
