Miles Davis' Sorcerer is - as every 2nd Quintet album - great. It ends with a very strange outtake from the 1st Quintet called "Nothing Like You", a rare vocal track sung by Bob Dorough. Dorough was great of course, but his style and timbre sounds really odd on a Miles Davis track. While I appreciate Miles Davis taking chances like this, I'll admit that I cringe a little every time I know I'm about to hear vocals on a Miles Davis track.

The singer, pianist, and composer is best remembered for writing classics like "Conjunction Junction” and writing/performing "The Shot Heard Round the World," "My Hero, Zero” and many more.
