This one I'm not sure about. Strangely it looks better #irl than on screen. I'm also reminded of the #Japanese #sculptor #Enku and his quickly-executed, abbreviated #Buddhas and #Bodhisattvas and I think that he is a definite inspiration for my work.

Still, she may not be finished. I'll know as soon as I see her next.

@shortshortshero there are #religions and #mythos where the different gods are themselves in service to others, and/or have some levels or aspects that are identical with other gods, and I think the idea of “avatars” is relevant too. The #trinity is in some important sense gods that are in service to one another, in service to something higher, identical to each other, and identical to the higher all at the same time, with Christ considered say, a developed avatar. The several different Tibetan conceptions of #bodhisattvas/dharmapala all show loads of not just overlap but ‘identicality’ both with each other and with related mythos. Like Avalokitesvara/Mahakala/Kuan Yin, for instance as well, Manjusri/Yamantaka. Or Krsna/Vishnu to grab from Hinduism.
