The garden has opened lots more sections to the public since my last visit years ago, including a large forested area. Just seen #ThickTrunkTuesday and felt this was worthy. A champion tree sadly felled by Storm Arwen earlier this year along with 49 others at National Trust Bodnant Gardens. It was a Sequoia sempervirens (coastal Redwood) It stood over 50 metres tall.
