Realizing that in 2024, #BoiseState will play successive September games against PAC-12/3, B1G eightTeEN, and Big XIIiiii football teams.

Or that Oregon State game will be a PAC-West conference game. Who knows anymore?

Personally, I'd love to see the #Pac12 add #SDSU, #BoiseState, #UNLV, #SMU, #Gonzaga and maybe one more. Yes, Gonzaga has no football program. Yes, UNLV hasn't been very good for a long while. But now is the time to act. And expand the Pac 12 footprint. Be the true #WestCoast conference.

Then mix in the absolute bungling of the potential expansion offer to #SanDiegoState and it's hard to believe there is any remaining confidence in #Pac12 leadership. But ... As someone who has often rooted for #BoiseState to get a Power 5 offer, I have to hope this might be their serious chance.

Academics are frankly a stupid reason to not invite an athletic program to an athletic conference. Athletics, no matter what schools say, are not about academics.

• Last year, 1 out of 6 (16%) voters chose Ammon Bundy for governor -- a pardoned domestic terrorist and open Christian Nationalist. The Democratic candidate got 20%.
• Idaho's entire Black population fits in the #BoiseState basketball arena.
• Idaho *still* calls the 3rd Mon of Jan "Dr. Martin Luther King / Idaho Human Rights Day." It was the 48th state to adopt the MLK Holiday.
