🥥 First the #orcas rose against the rich and I did nothing because I'm neither an orca nor rich.
Then the #otters rose against surfers and a man in #Singapore, and I turned away because otters are cute and I've never been to Singapore nor do I surf.
And when the #bollards rose in the streets there was no one to help me because the #cats with opposable thumbs had a firm grasp on all the levers of power. 🥥

I've always thought it shocking how much damage cars/vehicles do to the street furniture, seemingly routinely, and normally with zero penalty.
And some people wonder why cyclists and pedestrians feel unsafe near speeding cars...
When you travel abroad, it is noticeable that many cities simply install _solid_ bollards to keep the pavements safe.
