The boycott of the Qatar football world cup proved too much for a friend of mine. He told me he finally relented and watched the England-France match on a 'live' channel on YouTube.

Sadly, when the match was into its 75th minute, the camera showed the French President Macron sitting next to the UK Prime Minister Teresa May, and my friend threw his beer over the computer and burst into tears, realising he'd watched a match from 2017.
