Ahh! Start of our holiday on Harris & Lewis.
Within half an hour of arriving in our rather lovely cottage, I'd rearranged all the many books on many bookshelves into height order. Can't have an untidy bookcase, even on holiday!!

This uniquely British almanac ceased production about five years ago and I've yet to read the first edition, published in 1897, I think; the year of Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee.
I had completely forgotten about this. I guess I'll take it with me tomorrow and have a browse.

It was a bitch to build, I almost gave myself blisters on the palm of my hand and I am so glad it seems to finish off the living room nicely.
Plus, the drawers are great for hiding all the random crap 🤭

Delivery dude says to me “Have you got that? It’s kinda #heavy…” and he sees me haul it into the house and he’s like “oh okay- thanks then!”
I had this a couple of weeks ago - I went to get a grow bag out of the boot of my Mum’s car and one of my neighbours ran across the road to help me and I said I was fine.
Does being #female automatically make people think you are weak and feeble? I’m #stronger than a lot of guys I know…
