Bassist die gekennen is als lid van #BookerTandTheMGs, maar hij heeft ook duizenden opnames volbracht als sessiemuzikant voor oa #OtisRedding en #ElvisPresley.
Zijn bijnaam in het circuit was Mr Soulfingers, om zijn soulvolle basslijnen en grooves te prijzen.
Hij zal voor een tijdje ook #TomFogerty bij #CCR vervangen.
Vanaf 1980 is hij zowat te horen op elke grote hit, en speelt zichzelf in de film #TheBluesBrothers.
