Hi #Booksotdon #bookloversofmastodon #readers among you .. I have a question: I am someone who has read A LOT.. who continues to read a lot.. I don’t keep my books. Why would I? And now I read on Kindle almost exclusively.. and there they pile up.. but over the years, every time we have renovated.. I’ve given away all my books.. because why not?

I have often suspected this to be the case - books open up the world unlike any other medium.
