I have doubts about some work "trends".

First, sometimes I really think full remote work can be indeed harmful to both employer and employee.

Second, about the 4 days work week, I question if would be better to have a 5 days of 6 hours work.

Does anyone have reading suggestions that walk through this subjects?

I’m fashionably late to the party, but I just finished reading Legends & Lattes: A Novel of High Fantasy and Low Stakes.
It was so charming!

It’s a slice of life fiction about an orc opening a coffeshop in a DnD type setting. Full of friendship, finding oneself, a giant kitty, and (slight spoiler) romance. I totally recommend for a comfort read! #BookRecomendation

Here I was having a good time reading the third part of The Terraformers. Just full on heart-emoji-eyes for the newest protagonist, Scrubjay who happens to be a flying-train-person, and their cat-person friend named Moose 😍

... but then I entered chapter 40 and @annaleen decided to rip all of the hearts right out of my eyesockets 🥺

I am reading Pattern Recognition by William Gibson again.

I just love how he writes. I love and relate to the main character, Cayce Pollard. The story is fascinating: clips of mysterious footage released frame by frame on the internet, Cayce Pollard, coolhunter, searching for the source of the footage while being chased by someone

It is more interesting than I can describe. Very cool book.

Just bought books for my niece (10) & nephews (14 & 16).

Boys- The Stand. They didn't have the Name of the Wind or Fellowship of the Ring, so I got the sequels & will order the others to be delivered to them.

For Abby I got Harriet the Spy & 1st two Harry Potters.

Barnes & Noble was a total #fail. They had nothing I wanted.

For this one the #Book was "The Unexpected Queen" a debut novel for indie author Autumn Kaufer.
The cover is deceptive on it... Yes it is fantasy romance... But the level of merfolk combat and action is really high.
