Not that I'm blaming my fellow #bookstodons, but a lot of you have posted about some amazing books lately. So I've treated myself to some new #books. I know I told myself I wouldn't buy any more as I've got more than enough books on my shelves to be going on with, but when you're highly suggestable (like me), and you've got birthday money burning a hole in your pocket (me again) what can you do? You have to give in! 😂 📚

This is incredible. I'm reading A.S. Byatt's second novel, The Game, published in 1967, and realized that the two main characters, rival siblings, have invented a role playing game using cards, maps and figurines--a full seven years before D&D was first released! #amreading #bookstodons #D&D #womenwriters

@eatthelove @draperha @zamallama @bookstodon @audiobooks I never read either. Both seemed suspicious to me, as far as quality of content. I read the Poldark series during a year of cancer surgery and revisions. The first 2 were total crap; no clue how he got published. Some things aren’t worth comparing to the production interpretation. #bookstodons

This series is just what I had been looking for when I finished all three #SJM series. I wish I had found it sooner. A nice little wrap with intrigue to come. I hear book 3 gets spicy. 😏
