2. Zander (heroes at Heart #1) by Maryann Jordan.
A retelling of sleeping beauty. Almost DNF'd this book because Zander was a sexist asshole for no good reason and I dislike when men are that way in books. He redeemed himself, and I'm a very hard sell for that. story was sweet if not a bit rushed, but my heart didn't care. also AMNESIA trope!!Sleeping Beauty retelling.
CW for on-page assault, descriptions of physical assault.

Book thread.
1. Power of Five by Alex Lidell. This is what I will continue to refer to as why-choose romances, where there is more than one love interest and everybody gets to be happy. This book is about the fae and a woman who doesn't know she is part of that world. The writing was beautiful. I'm very new to this genre and still trying to figure out its tropes. First in a series and it endd abruptly. There is some spice.
