This is only rumors and speculation, but the buzz is that #ChrisPratt is being looked at to play #BoosterGold in the #DCU and I'm really not sure how I feel about the possibility.

On one hand, I'm a little sick of his shtick, but at the same time ... playing a douchebag from the future with impostor syndrome may be exactly the kind of role he would excel at. 🤔

Started my day right by watching #JamesGunn’s #DC announcement. It was exactly what I was hoping for with Gunn not only highlighting projects featuring DC heavyweights like #Superman and #Batman but also lesser known characters like #BoosterGold, #CreatureCommandos and #TheAuthority. This isn’t going to just be the DC Universe that we all know and love, but James Gunn’s DC Universe filled with all things epic, heartfelt, quirky, and strange. And I for one can’t wait to explore it!

James Gunn goes on camera to reveal some of the works coming from DC Studios, including #Animation. And their intentions for things going forward. Also, the slate of stuff that will come out this year.

And some pretty unusual stuff. Including #BoosterGold. I didnt see that coming. He also states that they want continuity, including actors staying the same from animated to live-act.

Next up is a #BoosterGold series for HBO Max, followed by the feature film #Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
Chapter 1 will conclude with a #SwampThing feature film.
Gunn & Safran say that all the actors will play the same role in films and TV shows, and no actor will play two different characters within the universe.

#DCStudios Phase 1 has been announced and it is just as weird and wild as we could have hoped from #JamesGunn. To wit:

* A #Superman movie about staying optimistic in a dark world.
* A #Batman/#Robin movie based on Grant Morrison's comics, with an older Batman mentoring former assassin Damian Wayne.
* A #WonderWoman prequel, Paradise Lost, about the politics of the early days of Themyscira.
* An #AmandaWaller series to follow Peacemaker
* A #GreenLantern show filmed as a sci-fi police procedural, with John Stewart and Hal Jordan.
* A #SwampThing movie.

* A #CreatureCommandos animated series with Rick Flag Sr.
* An #TheAuthority movie. (Yes. Gay Superman and Batman for the masses!)
