Today we packed all the tools,
And went to #Boothstown #RepairCafe.
It was very busy,
Lots of repairs done.
Visited a friend,
And had a cuppa and a chat.
Then home to play in the garden,
Where I dismembered an old trailer.
I also pruned a large fuchsia,
Can't spell that right without thinking 'Fuck Seer'.
Watched a bit of YouTube,
And checked up on parents.
Watched 'Working Girl' on TV and put the laundry on to wash.
Wondering if we should go out somewhere tomorrow,
And where that might be.
Time for bed now,

So at Repair Cafe this morning I returned a vintage suitcase I repaired in my workshop.

I also repaired:
A table
A lamp
A pressure washer
A stick blender
A bicycle
A garden trolley wheel

And assisted on an electric blanket, and lent tools to other volunteer repairers.

I also brought home a kitchen roll dispenser to repair the concrete base.

It was busy and I might have forgotten other things I had a hand in.

Off to #Boothstown #RepairCafe this morning. I wonder if it will be a busy or, a pretty uneventful, morning.

Today we packed all the tools,
And went to #Boothstown #RepairCafe.
Did lots of lovely repairs,
And even a bit of homework.
Then repaired the Village hall front door,
And fixed the shonkey kitchen cabinets.
Came home for a rest,
But ended up visiting a friend.
We had a good old catch up,
And discussed his home electrics.
Came home to rest again,
And watched a bit of YouTube.
Found my favourite biscuits contain soya flour,
No more favourite biscuits!
Ho hum,

Did lots of repairs,
And introduced two potential volunteers.
Checked in on parents,
And did laundry for them.
Went out to do a job,
Properly re installing and securing water butts.
Did our own laundry,
A day early, but frees up tomorrow!
Watched YouTube,
And did some research.
Ordered some more books,
From our local #IndieBookshop.
Wondering what to do on a Sunday,
If we have a day off.
I guess time for bed now,

We're off to #Boothstown #RepairCafe this morning!

Today I had a slightly slower start,
And began with some emails.
Then went to meet Sue,
To clean the church.
We took Mum to the district nurse,
To have some dressings changed.
I did more emails,
Before collecting an order from ToolStation (I didn't dance).
Started a small job,
Securing water butts to a wall for safety.
Off to do caretaking,
And a second cleaning job.
Feels like I have hardly sat still for two days,
And we have a #RepairCafe in #Boothstown tomorrow.
Time for bed then,

Today I dropped off some documents,
And changed and laundered bedding.
Loaded all the tools,
And went to #Boothstown #RepairCafe,
Did lots of repairs.
Homework to repair a wooden incense burner.
Removed an old range cooker,
It will go to the tip.
Did a bit of gardening,
Clearing ivy and dead plants.
Sharpened some tools,
And started repairing the burner.
Check in on parents,
They are doing well.
Watched a bit of TV,
And some YouTube.
Cleaned the sink and cooker,
Keeping up my chores.

Boothstown repair cafe was really busy, six of us doing electrical, fortunately, and others too. All rushed off our feet and poor Repair Bear couldn't keep up and missed quite a few of the repairs done.
I repaired Hettie, a garden projector lamp, a pram wheel, a hifi amp, Advised on Henry motor brushes, two lamps, and a slow cooker.
Also helped with tools.
