哦我是来吐槽koreader做笔记，中文输入法太难用了的！
无法用机器默认输入法，得用软件内自带输入法，中文输入法有两种：笔画，拼音。太久没用过笔画输入法，折横竖、点撇这几个容易搞混；而拼音输入法选字分词也都不容易。总体说来，就是不好用，打字无效率…
我现在是在fooview便签里把标注打好再复制进文本框内。
谁让我需要每次的阅读记录来增强信心增加阅读动力呢。 :0120:

My new Boox e-reader arrived today and I'm already blown away by it. The screen seems so crisp and the text sharper than my older Kobo.* And it's so snappy!

Also, this thing was packaged like a premium tablet; my phone didn't come this nicely packed and presented.

It's very early and I'm still setting it up, but so far I'm very happily impressed. Now to install my library apps!

*No shade to Kobo, that old Aura HD served me well for about 11 years now.

Today, after much research and deliberation, I ordered a Boox e-reader. The feature set, the ability to step out of walled gardens, and to easily connect to my local library sealed the deal for me.

And almost as soon as I clicked "Buy," my credit union flagged it as a suspicious purchase. (It's all ironed out now, though.)

I'm looking to upgrade my e-reader. I've been a long-time Kobo user and; I like their readers and I have a fairly substantial library through them, but I'm not a fan losing the microSD slot.

On the other hand, Boox has some intriguing options and a color e-ink option, but I've heard that they're more of a tablet than an e-reader.

And I'm also a little disappointed that there are so few options out there for e-readers and e-ink devices in general.

I just reported to the URL I mentioned above. The thing is that, I want an Android epaper tablet and this #BOOX company is the only one producing them and has well support.

Spending some time with my #Onyx #Boox tablet today. And with #Obsidian.

By request, I've taken some pictures of how comics look like on my newly arrived #Boox Ultra Tab C #eink #tablet .

I didn't buy it for reading comics, and frankly I wouldn't recommend it if that was your primary goal. Yes, it shows color - but the colors will always look rather flat, and there will often be some ghosting.

@chris Hey Chris, your Toot gave me some ideas - and I love this process so much. I now sync my #boox using #syncthing (never heard of it until your post). And yes, works well with my #macos like charm 😊 thanks for bringing up this famous idea 🙏🏻

Un altro prodotto interessante, e più economico, è il #reMarkable2, ma anche qui la giuria è abbastanza divisa. Idem il #supernote, che però ha un prezzo simile al #boox. Evito il #kindle Scribe a prescindere, in quanto prodotto Amazon.

Molto probabilmente vincessi 500€ non ci penserei due volte, ma a questo prezzo rimane un po' fuori dalla mia portata.

Sitting in the sun while working (and browsing Mastodon) on my new #Boox #TabUltra. This is the bee's knees, even tough android is oh-so-painful.
Syncing #Obsidian with he Mac using #Syncthing and then to #icloud and #iPad works, so I can actually sort my thoughts and ideas while I'm surrounded by nature.
#Excalidraw works well for diagramming and okay for quick sketches.

Ended up going with an #iPadMini to serve primarily as an #ebook reader (choosing it over the #Kindle, #Kobo, or #Boox options).

Love the device (which I've had before, and was unhappy with only because I was trying to make it my ONLY device). But sad that Apple makes only five covers with a very limited range of color options (and no blues). Ordered a third-party cover (with trepidation).

I've just finished Ryder Carroll's The Bullet Journal Method for the second time, and it's a bit scary how it covers some of the issues I have in life today that I didn't have the first time around - about 5 years ago.

Really looking forward to fully getting back into this, and the #Boox Tab Ultra seems like a good fit for a digital take on the system thus far. The only thing that is missing is some color.
