Got to play Chrononauts at #Boskone. One of my favorite games, but I haven't had a chance to play in years!!
It was the Early American version - Colonial through the early 1900s.

I wrote a poem today for the first time in 20-some years.

A spur-of-the-moment decision to attend a Speculative Poetry Writing Workshop at Boskone worked out well for me. I'd lingered in the "too scared/embarrassed to even start writing" chokepoint for a very long time, and little prompting and a little community were big helps.

Thank you to @lj for leading and to everyone who attended the workshop.

Some friends are running a table for Water Dragon at #Boskone this weekend. They scored a corner spot, which is great luck. If you're there, stop by and say hi! Pick up a book or three.

The other two writer friends who were going to be helping, and have Done This Sort Of Thing Before, were both called away to entertain medical personnel this weekend.

I'm sure the "newbies" are doing fine, but it wouldn't hurt to stroll over and be nice and encouraging.
