Componiste Henriette Bosmans is tegenwoordig wel redelijk bekend, maar minder bekend is, dat zij een verloofde had, die vrij plotseling op jonge leeftijd overleed. Violist Francis Koene, waarmee ze een duo vormde. Tragisch, Bosmans schreef een stuk voor haar verloofde, die hij nooit heeft kunnen spelen. Koene speelde veel "eigentijdse" muziek.
