Transportation might be the biggest #climate issue that cities can address. Not only would addressing #transportation equitably help us lower emissions, it would free up space for us to have healthy green parks and homes--JUST TO START!
Support different modes of getting around 🚶‍♂️ 🚍 🤸 🚴
State governments need to emphatically boost transit-oriented development. Washington also needs to get real. Divert tax $$$ away from personal yachts to building good infrastructure.

Personal motor vehicles ruin cities 🚗

Some people think / would have you believe that bikes are dangerous. Not even close.

They pose a fraction of the risk for injury that cars do. The speed of a bike is a perception issue, too. You might see a person on two wheels going 20MPH and think they’re flying, but a minivan at 25MPH…? It crawls, right? We don’t always see clearly at first glance.
