Practical example of #BottomUnity: the merging of the Liberal Party and Social Democratic Party in the UK to form the Liberal Democrats.

Three theories of #BottomUnity:

1. Compatibilism - The idea that libertarian capitalist and libertarian socialist communities can coexist under different norms of ownership/modes of production. Therefore, our common object should be in eliminating the state and making all relations voluntary. Left lib and right lib are simply preferences, although we may disagree on which would result in a more prosperous society overall.
