Today, one of six H225LP (EC225LP) Super Puma helicopters of State Emergency Service of #Ukraine crashed in #Bovary, #Kyiv. 18 people lost their lives. 3 crew members, 6 passengers including Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyi & his deputy and 9 people on the ground.

Current update from the Ukrainian emergency services:

Official information of the Emergency Situations Service regarding the emergency situation related to the helicopter crash in the Kyiv region (as of 14:00 Kyiv time)

17 dead people were found, including 4 children and 9 people who were on board. 25 people were injured (including 11 children), who were hospitalized (information is being clarified).

Search-and-rescue operations by units of the State Emergency Service are ongoing in the building of the National Hospital, but the fate of one child remains unknown.

Psychologists of the State Emergency Service assisted 51 people.

65 people and 12 units were involved from the State Emergency Service: equipment included rescue dogs and 3 rapid response units.

The Mobile Operational Group of the State Emergency Service is working at the scene of an emergency. #RussiaInvadedUkraine
