US: How did #cronobacter bacteria get into #babyFormula and several products produced by #Abbott?

Apparently, in February 2022 Abbott, which reportedly controls about 40% (!) of the market, did a #recall of products produced in #Michigan, when the #FDA found infants dying or admitted the hospital after consumption.

The cronobacter #bacteria, dangerous in #infants, can reportedly cause #sepsis or #meningitis and #bowelDamage.

Abbott reported the bacteria found throughout the Michigan facility.
