But serve the exact same food in a square box as a #bento with the main course NEXT to the rice instead of on top of it, and serve it with chopsticks or a spoon, I will buy that EVERY MORNING and take it to work. I hate the round bowl, the saucy rice, the cheap plastic fork.

Finished my first truly from scratch solo bowl. Cut the blank from a fallen eucalyptus in my yard, turned it green. Preserving the bark live edge is a challenge, I had to turn another piece to fit inside snugly to hold it on the lathe. I turned this in 3 sessions one month apart as it dried to avoid cracking. No oil finish - sanded down to fine steel wool for a natural burnish. #Woodturning #Woodworking #Bowls #Art #Crafts
