People say that “#boycotts don’t work” because they’re “not sustainable” and I swear I cannot express to you how easy it’s been for me to stay out of Chic-Fil-A, Wal-Mart, and Hobby Lobby for the last 20 years. They’re sustainable, it’s just some of y’all aren’t interested in sustaining them and that’s un-fucking-forgivably lame of you.

My statement was less about #boycotts for change than suggesting directly to the person I'm addressing & public attention that they #BoycottAmazon.

It's a good thing to do & helps build social commonality where it is the ethic, no matter how small the overall impact.

Remember the #GoyaBoycott in 2020 when the #GoyaFoods CEO supported #DonaldTheDeplorable during the #2020election ?

It actually resulted in a BOOST to #Goya sales because even though its products were mostly consumed by Democratic Party supporters, its customer base was only 7% of the U.S. population and you can’t stop buying something you don’t purchase. On the other hand large numbers of #MAGA cult members obediently supported the counter #buycott.

Moral? Don’t ADVERTISE #boycotts!
