It's worth bearing in mind that the grifter Simon Baron-Cohen was interviewed about this & asked about its possible use for eugenics. His reply. "We can't guarantee that the data won't be used by someone else for the use of eugenics." So you're just doing the heavy lifting for eugenicists then? #Autism #Neurodiversity

(If anyone can help with the source of this interview then I'd be really grateful as it's pretty damning to his reassurances)

Regardless of whether or not Autistic consultants are paid for their emotional labour, our involvement will still be tokenistic.

The research in its current form is unacceptable.

Until we have guarantees that a new project, with a new proposal, developed with the #Autistic community, will be embarked upon.

Until every sample that was collected prior to the HRA investigation can be evidenced as destroyed.

Let's make one thing very clear, when we say to boycott, it means the consultation as well.

There is nothing you can do or say that will make this okay. This is a eugenics project, and as a community we must not do ANYTHING to legitimise it.

No matter how many pleasantries and promises they make, this project will never be okay.
